please look before you open your car doors, people

Some jerk opened his van door in front of me while I was riding my bike! I was then nearly run over by a fire truck. The van door caught me right on my drawing hand, so it is all super swollen and messed up...but not broken, thankfully. I had to get a tetanus shot though, the side effects of which are brutal and unfair.
Anyway, I will draw more when it is possible to hold a pencil. like the stuff on that request list. And.,..um, the stuff that helps me buy fod. also food.

Yes I am going to mention this everywhere because I am frustrated, and hurt all over, spo therew., ...on the bright side, it has made my typing far more entertaining,albeit slower, and now I have more time to see movies (In Bruges was good).

Goodness, must have been very thick traffic.

Have no fear though, now you have a weird story to tell. People will be like "oddest injury" and you'll be like "well I got clotheslined by a van... while biking"

It isn't cool, but... at least you are all right. better they hit you with a door than the whole van itself. :hug:

What garbage. I hope you're doing better now (with lots of pillz for the pain and whatnot). I hope the van driver said he was sorry at least.

Ouch, when that happened to me I actually HIT the door and went flying. Luckily I only sprained my ankle, but I totaled the lady's car door. I was in total shock but luckily she was nice - I was so afraid I'd have to pay for it!
