JP is actually loosely based on one of my own ooold, old characters – my interpretation of Loki, that guy in the Pantsday picture in my gallery. During our first meeting, my editor pointed to a picture of him in my portfolio and said "I want him for the comic!" so I changed him up just enough to feel okay about it, and wrote him in as JP the trickster-hero.
I have used JP in a Harry Potter cross-over oddly enough
I figured JP was the only person in the world who'd ask for a hippo...and get it
Oh, and I'm going to feature you since all of JP's other fans will be dying to find out his creator's on here
